On the offices of the municipality of Enschede 146 PV modules are installed in order to generate the building's energy demand. A total of 30.66kWp ensures clean energy for an equivalent of about 8 dwellings. In order to start its long term vision "New Energy for Enschede", the municipality opened this solar energy system on the 1st of march 2010.
The office is the first building of the municipality with a solar energy system, more buildings will follow in the coming years.
